The Truth is Told!

I don't believe I've laughed so hard for a long time...

Wow. What an amazing flash! Great animation (of course, for clocks), but better yet, the comedy rules this flash.

I rather liked the line "Get me the latest spam tape from the Star Syndicate" - I was laughing quite hard by that point!

This is easily one of the best flashes I've ever seen, not only because it was so funny, but because you animated the dialogue... perfectly. The arguments were clean and crisp enough that you could hear them both, yet, you could tell both clocks were trying to speak louder. Good work!

The entire flash was a "masterpiece", and I've added it to my favorites! Good job!

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Cheers!

I still think that this was my best animated flash by far (let alone probably the funniest i managed to pull out of my ass). This cartoon is sort of a double edged sword. It supports the Clock Crew with its animation and at the same time has a laugh at their expense by aiming at its roots.

I'm glad you liked this and i hope i get more feedback from you in the future!

A Striking Message!

It's been awhile since I've reviewed your works, and I'm thrilled to see another one of your "crude" service announcements!

For the flash itself, I was looking forward to it - I would take another one of the service announcements, but after a third, I'm not sure if I could take them anymore... frankly, three is the charm.

I'll take this step by step, going over every part of your announcement.

---Parodies---

In general, most parodies are sub-par the originals - however, look at some of the Pico films, and you can see great works of art based off of original ideas. However, for the most part, things like this are utter crap so I recognize your point.

---Groups--- (Clocks, Glocks, Locks... etc.)

Again, for the most part, you're right here. These groups simply manage to make terrible flash and seem to almost war with each other. But, look at the Clocks: flashes such as "21 O'Clock Street" show the pinnacles of Clock flashes, and they're actually quite good. On the other hand, you have groups like the Star Syndicate which manage to ruin the reputations of groups and churn out crap 24/7 - I believe that's part of the problem you're trying to get at.

---Porn n' Hentai---

If you haven't realized it yet, many Newgrounders who vote are the thirteen year olds desperate for some porn - and, they'd rather not search for it on normal sites. Meaning, they just vote zero for anything they don't enjoy, or simply cannot masturbate to. Of course, this is a depressing world we live in, and Newgrounds seems to bring it out. There are those of us that do our best to stop this crap from getting in, but we can only do so much.

---Sticks---

Again, exceptions strike out - look at the recent "Animator vs. Animation", which is currently #1 top-scoring submission. However, for the most part, most stick flashes suck. A lot. They usually signify that an author's too cheap to do anything better, and it usually means crap. Yet again, I agree with you on this part.

---Foamy---

Alright, I most definitly agree with you here. Your characters look NOTHING like Foamy, and you should be angered if people even try to compare the two.

For the latter part of your message afterwards, I tend to disagree. For the most part (with the exceptions of flashes made by X-Naut and other bad flash authors), flashes that make it through are at least mediocre, unless they hold some porn or hentai reference or use it to center the game or animation.

But, people don't blam things just because it doesn't have porn or hentai - people blam things because they suck. The crap that comes into the portal is like an unblocked river, or an overflowing dam, meaning that if your flash has a low file-size, chances are some quick blammers are going to be a bit too trigger-happy on a good flash.

If my message seems a bit jumbled, apologies, but I have nothing more to say.

stoners-lunchbox responds:

I don't know about jumbled, but your message sure was extensive. I don't think it'd be possible to misunderstand one of your reviews when you write so much. I'l take your points into account, counting also on the fact that it's been a while since i last did my research.

Thanks again for reviewing. It's reassuring to have so many regulars coming in to give me their support.

Great Work!

A little bit away from the normal violent nature of your flashes, but still - lovely!

Great storyline - I like the fact that you centered this around "Pong" - such a classic game...

Loved the dreams. The one with mouse being chased by cat almost looked like a scene from Tom & Jerry, while the "Pong in the Head" one was simply classic!

Loved it like usual! Keep it up!

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Thanks, Nomader!

I'm actually way in over my head sometimes... I just can't believe the fanfare that's building up around this series.

It's mighty encouraging, people! Thanks for the support!

The Crowd Goes WILD!

Welcome to the Hall of Flash Fame, Mr. Maitan - because by God, you've done it again!

How can anyone desribe the priceless storylines that you write for these things? I'd never have the skill to make something this good - but this proves that you're simply amazing.

In the beggining of the flash, with the cheerful Christmas music and such, I was beggining to wonder if you'd gone soft on the violence that is often found with your films, which brings laughter to my heart.

Of course you didn't - you continued with the same gut wrenching bomb stuff you always have - and I love it, because I wasn't expecting it by then.

This was pure excellence - a great storyline for such a short flash, hularious, violent, great graphics and style... what can I say?

A job well done!

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Thanks for the heart-warming review. I've apparently done it again and i will continue my streak, now more than ever. I'm back from my summer holidays and ready to prooduce some new episodes.

Thanks for watching!

Great Work!

The animatino style of this is wonderful - the "shaky" feeling I recieve throughout the entire flash is just wonderful - you really worked on this!

I love the story, of how he throws the TV, and gets "agitated" - it's a wonderful narrative, and it's a great storyline.

I really love the graphics, the shakiness just makes me smile. You put tons of work into this, and despite its length, it's a masterpiece.

Lengthen it a bit, and maybe I'll "fifen" next time! XD

Good luck!

AlterEgoZ777 responds:

lol im glad u liked it but the funny thing is i put like no time on this so i guess if i put a lot of time on it, ud love it...thanks for the review...

A Classic in Newgrounds!

This is one of the best messages I've ever watched. Ever.

Hopefully, I'm considered in the first catagory of people, who don't submit flashes, but at least have a decent minded brain to use the whole spectrum of votes, and to review quite a few of the flashes I watch.

However, it is all too common to find shit reviews on this site - just now, I browsed a few reviews, only to find "gay" as the entire review.

It's people like these that should just shut up, and I believe it's these sorts of idiots who you're trying to get to here.

Then the votes:views ratio - great job finding that. It's a fact that's often overlooked, and you bring it out in this awesome flash.

If people compare this to Foamy's Rants? Ha. These are much better - you have somebody that at least sounds like a human being.

This is a MASTERPIECE - by looking at your site, a new one should be released soon - I'm waiting! XD

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Yeah, i'm doing my best to finish Service Announcement #02 a.s.a.p., but i keep on getting ideas for other cartoons along the way (like my "Floor" and "Going Down to Newgrounds" music videos) and those kepp me occupied for quite some time too... I'd love to get this done soon though, but i'm still getting ideas for other projects so it might take a while...

Anyway, thanks for watching and i'm glad you liked it!

A Classic!

I was planning to review all the rest of your movies today, something long overdue, but I happened to accidently click on this flash as the Daily Feature - boy, am I happy I did! XD

If this were Newgrounds in real life, I'm sure that this would be a great idea of how it would be.

The animations were smooth, and wonderful. I simply cannot describe how AWESOME the movements were.

The music was perfect with this animation - just wonderful. If a n00b gets in my way... hahahaha!

The comedy had the usual fun, violent nature to it, like in the Tom & Jerry cartoons, as most of your flashes do. However, it almost just proved the point that Newgrounders are completly insane - and the sad thing is, that it even sounds quite realistic... o.O

Yet another classic - a great flash. Wonderful job!

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Thanks!

I hope i did a good enough job depicting Newgrounds and paying Denvish his long awaited tribute to the music he makes.

Thanks for watching!

One of the Newgrounds greats

Why haven't I added this to my favorites? Why haven't I added you as a favorite author yet? I think I'm going to very shortly.

The first one was great. And I wasn't expecting this one to be even better, to tell the truth. But this was just classic! You must be going for the old "Tom & Jerry" cat and mouse sort of comedy, except with a more cruel and modern twist. Much joy goes out to you, for such a great piece!

What a lovely work! The audio was down flat, perfect! Amazing job! *bows*

The graphics and story made my day. Who can forget the "fishing for fish" with the electric plug? So cruel, yet so funny! Amazing!

I... I can't describe how amazing this is!

When I have the chance, be sure to expect reviews for the others!

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Thanks! Your support means a lot to me!
I was surprised that my cartoon got this much recognition at the beginning, but once it started to all become more "mainstream" for me i got used to the positive feedback and that eventually encited me to do better and better.
I'm glad you liked it and you can only expect me to get better at this, so stay tuned!

A deserving piece

This piece deserves to be a classic. This is simply incredible quality, that cannot be denied.

Is this a take off the cat and mouse shows from Looney Tunes? This is definitly great - the comedy had me roaring in my seat... *maybe not... roaring*

The graphics were spectacular - maybe not the most advanced, but great none-the-less.

Amazing job! I'll have to watch the rest in the series!

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Please, PLEASE do that! There's a lot to it that others don't comprehend...

Thanks for watching!
