Damn.
I've officially started the NG Rules series! These flashes will not exactly be epic greatness here -- we're talking "sneaking through judgement" flashes.
However, in all truth -- I was aiming for Turd of the Week with these things. Little did I know my competition. The FF, for example, make it impossible for independent flash-makers like myself to win the turd. Also, for some reason, Newgrounders always vote "five" whenever it's about their site... hence why "The NG Rules 2" has such a little chance of succeeding to the turd.
It's a shame.

A few years back, when I was somewhat addicted to Newgrounds, in most of the clubs I was part of, there were at least a few women in the clubs. Now... not so much.
It seems that the only major female members left in Newgrounds (to me) are the few flashmakers and some moderators in the BBS -- other than that, it just seems to be posers who typed in "Girl" into Google, and slapped the first picture they found in their profile.
I'm probably wrong though. :D

I figured out something today -- I can blame Newgrounds for perverting the childhood innocence that I had far too long.
I've always attended Catholic schools (the Washington DC public school system isn't the best) in my neighborhood. Most of my life, I had a mother who constantly reinforced morals into my mind, and somehow managed to convince me that you should always tell the truth, and expect the truth in return.
I've found out, sadly, that life just doesn't wok that way. I think it was actually here on Newgrounds, in eigth grade, where I first began to become really quite active on Newgrounds, that I figured out that the childhood morals I had grown up with were mostly un-true... and it sort of shattered me.
But, I try to do the same today. I tell the truth when I can (though, I've slowly become a scary-good liar...), and I go to mass on Sundays (though I'm religious, I doubt this'll continue during college in a couple years), but I feel as though that Newgrounds was the community (... yep. Interesting community) that helped me actually begin to catch sarcasm, the perverted site that helped me to transition into high school.

I figured it'd be cool if I wrote a bit about myself, because, I've never really done that before. So... here it goes.
I'm a sixteen year old from Washington, DC (I live only a few blocks from the Maryland border of the District), and I've gotta admit, that unlike many Newgrounders I come across who go here to get away from their lives, I love my life -- this is just a fun hobby on the side. :D
I once made a flash submission called the "BBS Rules". I copied the BBS rules word for word, and had them simply scroll across the screen... with nothing else. It almost got through! D:
I've been spending more and more time in the Audio Portal recently -- I've been trying to get my Audio review count to be the same as my Flash one -- and filled with good reviews at that. Some of my flash ones... well, they were lacking. Let's just stick with that. :P
I'm looking at colleges now -- you'll hear more about that later, I'm sure.
Take care everyone -- have a pleasant evening, morning, whatever. :P

Everyday on Newgrounds, people always choose their colors. Previously, it was "Light", "Dark", and "Neutral". Experienced users tended to pick light, because they swung that way (with exceptions of course). Users who were probably going to burn themselves out went the "Dark" way (myself included for a time). And nobody went with neutral.
I am proud to say (...), that with the exception of two weeks of the "dark" avatar, I have always been a Neutral Newgroundian. But nobody else ever is...
Even now, with the new system (that I don't understand and don't care to), I'm still one of the only ones. So... yeah, neutral. Go green.
