A deserving piece

This piece deserves to be a classic. This is simply incredible quality, that cannot be denied.

Is this a take off the cat and mouse shows from Looney Tunes? This is definitly great - the comedy had me roaring in my seat... *maybe not... roaring*

The graphics were spectacular - maybe not the most advanced, but great none-the-less.

Amazing job! I'll have to watch the rest in the series!

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Please, PLEASE do that! There's a lot to it that others don't comprehend...

Thanks for watching!

Brilliant

"One vodka, two vodka, three vodka, floor!" will now forever be stuck in my head.

Not only that, but you have charming an amazing graphics to go with it. I'd never think of animals dancing to this song - great idea, with great graphics.

The sound quality itself was tremendous - great in itself - you could have just listened to the song, and I'd give this a 4.

However, the animation is like the cake itself. The best part. You have mice (?) dancing to the music, slamming the vodka glass down... classic.

Great work! I'm looking forward to more in the future!

stoners-lunchbox responds:

Thanks! To reward our loyalty i will guarantee more episodes (and music videos) of Ratbag & Furball!

Stay tuned!

A given "Meh"

I fail to see a distinct point, plot, sound, or good graphics, in/to this flash. The graphics well, just as you said, "Badly Drawn Stickman" fits it perfectly well. Just seems you through it together in a few days work...

The Sound... was where? Sound is neccessary in almost all submissions, and you needed it here... however, with its lack, I found nearly no interest in the entire movie itself.

I did find it a tinch funny how people were disappearing and such...

But the ending was a dissapointment... there was none. Make one of those as well.

Pretty much, you have a good idea going here, but it just lacks the essentials.

Bezman responds:

The graphics were meant to be what they are. Just wobbly b+w fbf. I think there is a plot. It's incomplete, but it's meant to be about the evolution of a drawn stickman and him becoming slowly better drawn and such.

I just submitted it for feedback (to see how I was doing). After getting not one positive remark, I got totally discouraged and never finished.

Ah well.

Stay funky,

Best preloader/picture on NG

Although, to tell you the truth, this looks like something that should be on Retrogade...

I loved the little guys with the helmets - as I'm not a Megaman fan, could you please kindly tell me what they are? Their just so cool... it's awesome.

Then, the center picture definitly works well for a preloader. You have Zero in the center there, Megaman in the background... but who's the blonde girl? I've never seen her before in a Megaman game.

Also, just a note, I think black would work better as a background. The white just doesn't look well with the picture, and seems too artificial.

Nice work! Hopefully you'll actually use this preloader someday... someday...

ViceFullbuster responds:

I avoid Retrogade cause i rather be not drug addicted to another damn website. >:(

The guys with the hats are called Metatools.

I thought so too and that's not a girl it's a guy and his name is Axl who made his apperance in X7.

Yeah but oh well.

Maybe... >:)

Jello Wall!

This is some amazing motion-tweening you've got going here. Bill Cosby and the Jello wall was great. Although, Mario and bunch just stood there, like biffling morons, trying to think "how to beat a darn jello wall"... wow.

The movie itself never ended, and you matched it up perfectly. I loved the concept of a "Jello Wall", and I loved the idea that you only had to move maybe three things in a motion tween. The rest of the stuff was probably already part of an already made background, maybe a screenie or something. Could be interesting to find out where you got it.

Also, my speakers were off for some reason, so I'm just guessing there's sound.

Anyhow, great job X-Naut. Yet another hit from you... never ends! Wonderful classic!

ViceFullbuster responds:

Thanks for your optimitsticness on my greatness.

Better

Now, if only I could get this stuff through the portal - I've tried before... :/

Anyhow, this is much better than your other ones. However, the text moves really quickly, so I can barely read it in time. But, you have everything down.

You can tell us what everything's weakness is. Now, if only I knew what game this was for, I might get it, and go over this. It's actually pretty good.

Again however, this crushes all of your other "flashes" - the others seemed like jokes to test how far the portal can go. And BEAST BOI pushed the limit, but didn't break it. Nice work on getting them through.

Nice job! I'm looking forward to more utter crap from you soon X-Naut! Considering the fact that these are pretty bad... let's face it... :/

Good luck!

ViceFullbuster responds:

All will be revealed soon enough.

Pretty Horrible

However, unlike many blockheads, I'm writing a good quality review, with some constructive criticism - if I told you that you sucked, that wouldn't help you, now would it?

For starters, you have a hairy fat guy doing DDR. It just doesn't look right. And, it seems he's been cut out pretty badly out of some other thing. Just make the things look a bit more real, and this will be much better.

Then, you have the arrows at the top, and the ones going off the screen, that serve absolutly no purpose. It's funny, but I think it'd be better if you could make it, so they either have purpose, or aren't there.

The graphics were your real downfall. They were horrible. Work on it some more with some tutorials, and I'm positive you'll improve.

Good luck with this!

Smon responds:

Thank you for using your brain unlike many of the NGers, anyway, based on your review I can't tell if you actually watched the thing, you see the hairy guy (MC Hammer)is a play button, but thank you for thinking. You get an A+ in my book.

Possibly the best guide I've ever seen on NG

However, I really haven't seen that many guides at all... I guess that means that yours is the best, and the worst of every single guide on NG.

Regarding this submission, it's much above average than your other submissions, such as the infamous "BEAST BOI" flashes. Much better.

I wish there was a "forward, backward" button, so I wouldn't have to click and unclick "play" all the time to be able to read it. Slow it down... alot. Maybe then you'd have a pretty above par submission!

This one, actually has a good point to it, and has some information well, that's actually a bit interesting. Your information here seems pretty accurate, although I haven't played the game, so I wouldn't know.

Anyhow, better job with this one. I'm looking forward to more from you, so I guess I'd better be checking the "Worst submissions" more often!

Good luck!

ViceFullbuster responds:

Sorry but i don't know how to add buttons and this took me 5 hours alone to do.

Graphics are incredible

Well, looking through my older reviews, you once responded to one of my reviews in late July, where I considered your graphics amazing - you said to check out your other flashes, something I regret not doing sooner.

The sheer quality of this is spectacular. It's as if one painted all the apartment buildings and people in Manhatten a greenish grey, and just scoped the city.

The length was perfect - anything passed that, and it probably would've been horribly boring.

But, you hit the spot - and the end was amazing as well, with the suicidal jumper. Great way to end it.

Again however, your graphics stand out. It's just incredible.

Lambi responds:

Thatnks a lot! That review was one of the best Ive ever gotten!

An epic sequel indeed!

Wow. This is truely an amazing submission.

Never before (well, maybe before) could we ever see the great quality you have shown us...

Never before could we have seen "BEAST BOI" and a "roffel" screen flicker on and off.

Wow.

This is incredible!

ViceFullbuster responds:

Yes indeed.
