Enjoyable.

I'm going to start by saying that this flash has one of the best opening credits I've seen in awhile. I'm also going to say that the flash itself, was for the most part, garbage, due to the fact that it was just a picture of two fairly well drawn girls, who have awful music in the background as circles appear and disappear to represent their mouths.

In all seriousness, the opening had the quality of a mediocre anime -- which meant that the opening credits here were pretty outstanding. Granted, that shouldn't be taken into the score of a movie, but I'm giving you extra props here because seriously, it's pretty awesome. The music featured in this section isn't that bad either. :D

If you put more effort into the flashes themselves, you might have quality. But, I give you props on the best opening ever to get it past judgment -- a job well done!

Amazing. xD

This was some twisted humor -- but good quality twisted humor, that made me laugh a ton.

Normally I don't mention my favorite scenes, but I loved the ending you had in the Gladiator-esque afterlife (you even had the music... xD) -- and that song's going to be stuck in my head forever now (the "pa-wa-wa-weee" thing... that was great. xD)

Overall the graphics were great -- from the gunshot in the computer to the movement and shading of the face of the guy, it all looked amazing. I thought the reaper in the "I want to die :)" cartoon on YouTube did look a bit fake, but I think it also distinguished him more from the rest (the annoying singer dude and the guy) of the people in the flash.

The sound quality was good -- though, the song was annoying as hell (and wonderful for it!). Overall, good job on that front.

The jokes continued to hit every time -- at points, I was just wondering when the guy would pop up, and after you'd leave me waiting for about half a minute, he'd pop up out of nowhere -- excellent stuff.

This is one of the better comedic flashes I've seen on Newgrounds lately -- thanks for submitting it, you made my day!

Solid effort.

It's a pleasure to be reviewing your works again -- I apologize for taking so long to get to this flash, but I suppose we should be getting started.

I can't say this is my favorite of the Ratbag & Furball cartoons, but it's still a good quality effort. Like usual, my favorite part was the fluidity of the animation -- everything just looked like it... well, worked. Ratbag and furball have never looked better, and I commend you on keeping up the quality when so many veteran artists stumble.

As the series has went along, the animations have also become obviously more anime-ish. Whether that's a good development or not, I'm not sure, but I thought I should bring it up.

Next, the story -- you've had some great storylines in the past, but this one, though funny, wasn't it. The best scene was by far when both of them discovered the lack of a key ingredient ("WTF?" -- very nice job), and though the war part was of high quality, for some reason, it just didn't have the same lasting effect on me as the other cartoons have. I think Ratbag & Furball #04 had a better story -- but that's just personal opinion. :P

The sound was good -- the usual entry piece was the same, reliable good quality. Listening to Furball's stomach rumbling wasn't exactly aesthetically pleasing, but I'm guessing it wasn't supposed to be. The music in the first half of the piece definitely felt like old video game music (as you mentioned), but even though it went along sort of with the theme, it didn't quite do it for me -- it felt a bit too synthesized (I've been going to the Audio Portal too much lately to be totally neutral... :P)

Anyways, to sum it all up, it was another solid effort in the Ratbag & Furball series -- I'm not too sure if it was the best script or not, but it was still a good quality submission -- a job well done!

Haven't heard from you in a while.
In all honesty, right now my work here on Newgrounds is kinda slow. I haven't had much time for Ratbag and Furball cartoons. It was pure luck that one of my Certificate 4 projects involved an animated short, so i was able to hit 2 birds with a stone. I hope to be able to resume cartooning again soon. I know i've said that a lot over the past 2 years, but i really do hope i manage to get back on track in spite of that. Thanks for remaining loyal.

It's a privledge, really.

This is the greatest honor I've ever had in my time here at Newgrounds -- I'm reviewing the worst flash in the entire portal.

This flash shows the perfect example of a great flash... that just didn't work out quite right. When I watched it, the audio was off, no matter how many loops I went through... it was a disappointment. To be frank, I believe this could've been the best flash in the history of Newgrounds had that one small problem been fixed.

However, because of the problem, I must give this flash a 0/10 -- but still! Congratulations on being the creator of the worst flash ever made (this is not abusive people -- this is by score here. :P)!

G'luck!

Viewtiful-Chris responds:

Thanks. Maybe I could EVEN BEAT MY RECORD!

*UNTITLED* is coming at a close second!

Good work

I definitely enjoyed this flash on almost all fronts. Unlike most of the mindless stuff Newgrounds gets, this one had a sort of message while being funny at the same time -- nice work!

The graphics were excellent. The animations were fluid, and I thought the whole indie presentation (like the name of the flash) was well done.

I think you hit on some un-noticed stereotypes in the middle of this one... the kid, trying to be indie, goes onto his top-end Macintosh and buys an old album on iTunes. He starts to think that guitars are "too mainstream", and he won't even watch TV anymore. I can laugh while I'm watching it, but the entire flash let me think afterwards, and that's why it was such a high quality piece.

I'm looking forward to more work from you -- g'luck!

Meebs responds:

Good analysis :P
Thanks

Good quality.

This was an example of what a great flash should look like -- the animations were crisp, Link was drawn in a good cartoonish version of himself, and the joke was really funny.

But, I had to deduct points from my score simply because of length -- I'm sure it took quite some time to get the flash to that level of quality, but it was somewhat depressing to see that it ended so quickly. If this flash had been a longer series of jokes with a loose storyline (akin to the "Real LoZ" series), this would've been a better game for it.

Good work!

Not the best.

I admit, I was nervous about whether or not Sunkern would attack Hitler, but I was happy to see that Hitler, the King of Peace himself, caught Sunkern in a mostly harmless manner by confining it to a small ball and using camouflage to sneak up on it.

... phew!

I definitely didn't like the music to this one (hence the lower score), and I thought the background was beautiful though. Anyways... it was alright. Four out of ten.

I love the series Afro, look forward to seeing more of them!

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

Adolf's catching methods are much friendlier than that.

Amazing!

Like usual, I loved this animation.

For starters, I have to compliment the sound found in this movie. The music keeps a good beat, and overall, it's just a good quality submission. Nice song choice!

Next, I loved the purple tint Stalin had -- it's almost like he was an Arbok... in disguise! But, I did dock points because he was releasing a dangerous, violent Pokemon back into the wild. People just don't do that nowadays.

Good job, like usual -- I look forward to the next installment!

Thought Provoking.

Well, I watched this entire flash, and I must say, it brings up some moral problems in my mind -- it is alright to have a blue goomba on the same screen as a supervillian?

Random gibberish aside, as a fan of the Hitler series myself, I can say that this wasn't up to the standards of the recent Jumpluff Hitler movie. Still, the animations were fluid, and I did enjoy the goomba walking out there -- I felt it was a reward for those of us who kept watching.

I was disappointed by the ending though... I mean, you couldn't have even said, "You Win DDR!", or some other corny line? I had to deduct points from my score for it.

Anyways, nice work -- I look forward to the rest of the series! :P

Chaz-o responds:

Indeed, i had even forgot i put that there myself XD

Im glad you watched it all thoe!

Next time ill ad something at the end for people like you who watch it all XD.

And yes i know this is a mear fraction of the greatness that is the Adolf Hitler series, but i try ;P

No Evolve Screen?

I'm sorry, Afro, but this submission wasn't up to the standards of your previous one. The last one had a high quality evolution screen that I thoroughly enjoyed -- why didn't you include the same in this one?

I did, however, enjoy Hitler's newest purple fuzzy outfit. It's high quality, and for that, I commend you.

I'm ranking this a three out of ten for the lack of originality and the lack of an evolution screen. (Sarcasm section -- this in no way reflects my actual thoughts of the work, and should not be marked as abusive: AFRO THAT SUX0R. WTF? I WTCHD 10SEC DIDNT DO GD. I 0'D LOL.)

Thanks for uploading again, Afro, and I look forward to reviewing your next installment!

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

Aipom doesn't evolve from anything, so no evolution screen. :P
